Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries provides transitional room and board, clothing, food, legal aid, transportation for the change of venue of refugees reuniting with family members and sponsors, as well as spiritual counseling to the refugees that come through their doors. SWGSM also helps those in need, both nationally and internationally, by providing goods and services to the poorest-of-the-poor in the Rio Grande Valley and in Matamoros, Mexico. Your gift provides rice and beans (20 pounds of each) to feed the hungry.
Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries, located in the Rio Grande Valley, was established in 1985 with the specific purpose of providing assistance to refugees seeking asylum in the United States.
