Austin Street Center: Support for an Austin Street Client

Austin Street Center is one of the largest low barrier shelters in Dallas that has served men, 45 and older, and women, 18 and older since 1983. Beyond meeting basic needs, Austin Street is committed to helping clients regain their independence and find a permanent place to call home. No matter how they got there, the center focuses on a caring, customized, collaborative approach that involves a variety of services and special programs to remove barriers to permanent housing. In June 2022, it opened the doors of its new 60,000 square foot, 500 bed facility. Your gift provides one day of emergency shelter, meals, and case management for one individual.
