Becoming Beloved: Groceries for One Week for an Asylum Seeker

Midway Hills Christian Church is offering radical hospitality to migrants from various countries. Several lesser-used rooms in the church have been converted to a sleeping dorm and a living space. Because of the difficulties of claiming asylum and an extreme delay in work authorization by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the hospitality stay adds extra weeks of support. The asylum seekers cook their own meals in the Midway Hills church kitchen. This gift provides one week of groceries for one individual staying at the church.
