Each year in December, Midway Hills Christian Church has an Alternative Christmas Gift Market.

Here people have an opportunity to emphasize the Christ in Christmas by giving the gift of food, shelter, clean water, and empowerment to the needy both locally and in distant parts of our world. Varying amounts can be donated to a selection of agencies. For each gift, the donor receives a card describing the program and an insert describing the mission of the selected agency. Some of the agencies we support include Church World Service and Global Ministries, as well as other local organizations.
